Week 3

Week 3 ( 15 Sept)

This week we talked a little about demographics and the different generations of the world. I belong to the generation Y, because I was born between 1979 and 1994. As I read this chapter and discussed it in class I was asking myself why would we talk about the different generations in a marketing class? Well I think it’s because part of marketing is knowing who we are going to sale to and what they might be interested in. It’s almost like moving from a push to a pull system to try and market things that specific groups will be interested in.
